This project involved the installation of 2G/3G RBS sites, both internally and externally, for 250 sites.

This included the installation and upgrading of the backbone microwave network and recovery of the Telstra CDMA Network, including site upgrade works.

The project included the supply, installation and commissioning works for the new Digital Microwave Links for Australian Customs Service at Fremantle ports and Kwinana.

We supplied and installed a comprehensive Transmission Network connecting various Port Authority sites with vital communication including video and data streaming. This facilitates essential security requirements for all incoming and outgoing shipments.

This project enabled us to demonstrate the strength of our project management skills. It required extensive liaison with third party clients to enable the relocation of third party services from a 50 metre to a 60-metre mast.

We ensured successful cutover of services and the removal of the 50 metre mast at Lancelin for the Telstra NextG Mobile Phone Network.

Westcom Consulting provide full rigging support to Vertel in the ongoing maintenance of existing Tetra Service and to upgrade transmission backbone. In addition, Vertel have utilised our services in turnkey microwave projects from Line Of Sight (LOS) through to alignment and the commissioning of the link.
